ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR ALLEGED DISORDERLY CONDUCT TUESDAY

Roseburg Police jailed a man for alleged disorderly conduct on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 10:20 a.m. officers responded to the 1400 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard after a caller said a man was yelling and screaming in front of multiple businesses. This was the 41-year old’s fourth contact in a few hours for the same type of behavior.

When officers tried to make contact with the man, he reportedly became aggressive and tried to walk away. After a brief struggle, officers were able to get the man into handcuffs.

He was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct and detained on $2,500 bail.
