A KQEN crime followup:
As of Sunday, ten years have passed since a double homicide took place just north of Roseburg, and still no arrests have been made in the case.
On October 22nd, 2013 police were called to a home in the 5700 block of Northeast Stephens Street in the Winchester area, for reports of a shooting. 47-year old Michael Tellone and his daughter 26-year old Brittney Langford were pronounced deceased at the scene. Christopher Langford, Brittney’s husband, survived the incident with a non-life-threatening injury.
About two weeks later, authorities provided a composite sketch of the suspect. That man was described as being Hispanic, around 40 years of age and 6 feet tall. Police said he spoke with a thick accent, had very short stubbly hair, stubbly facial hair and was wearing a black or dark colored hoodie.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office did not respond to a request for an update on the case.
