COVID-19 claims no more lives, with the state’s death toll remaining at 2,726, as of Friday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 308 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19 bringing the state today to 204,587. The new cases include:

*67 in Multnomah County

*37 in Washington County

*34 in Clackamas County

*31 in Marion County

*21 in Jackson County

*15 in Douglas County

*14 in Deschutes County

*12 each in Lane and Linn counties

*11 in Umatilla County

*8 in Crook County

*7 in Yamhill County

*6 in Columbia County

*5 in Polk County

*4 in Clatsop County

*3 each in Benton, Jefferson and Josephine counties

*2 each in Curry, Grant, Hood River, Klamath and Malheur counties

*1 each in Coos, Lake, Lincoln, Union and Wasco counties

The number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 169, which is 4 fewer than on Thursday. There are 40 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 1 fewer than on Thursday.

OHA reported that 24,213 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 15,926 doses were administered on Thursday. 8,987 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Thursday.
