MAN JAILED FOR ALLEGED ROAD RAGE INCIDENT

A 29-year old man was jailed for an alleged road rage incident on Friday night.

A report from the Oregon State Police said just before 10:30 p.m. a trooper observed the incident on Interstate Five northbound near the Garden Valley Boulevard interchange in Roseburg.

The report said a passenger car pulled up next to a commercial motor vehicle, and then the CMV’s driver’s side window shattered out. The trooper said the car then sped away at over 100 miles per hour. The vehicle was pulled over and the trooper determined that the driver had shot a pellet gun at the commercial vehicle’s window, breaking it out.

29-year old Brandon Lafleur was charged with second-degree criminal mischief, recklessly endangering another person, reckless driving and for menacing. Lafleur was also detained for a probation violation. Bail was set at $27,140
