80 PLUS DEGREE TEMPERATURES UNDERWAY FOR THE UMPQUA VALLEY

Three days of 80 plus degree high temperatures are underway in the Umpqua Valley.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service told News Radio 1240 KQEN that the mercury got to 82 degrees on Friday at the Roseburg Regional Airport. That made Roseburg one of the warmest locations in Oregon. Forecasters said that Salem also reached 82 degrees.

Highs of 83 degrees are expected on both Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures will cool to the upper 70s on Monday. The rest of next week is expected to see highs of between 70 and 72 degrees.
