COVID-19 CLAIMS 6 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 617, AS OF FRIDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 6 more lives, raising that state death toll to 617, as of Friday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 418 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 38,935. The new cases include:

*86 in Multnomah county

*58 in Washington County

*53 in Lane County

*45 in Clackamas County

*35 in Marion County

*18 each in Jackson and Deschutes counties

*17 each in Malheur and Umatilla counties

*14 in Yamhill County

*13 in Polk County

*12 in Linn County

*5 each in Coos, Douglas, and Morrow counties

*3 each in Columbia, Jefferson, and Tillamook counties

*2 each in Benton, Klamath, and Wasco counties

*1 in Curry County

The new deaths ranged in age from 50 to 94. 2 lived in Washington County with 1 each in Jefferson, Curry, Hood River and Multnomah counties. All had underlying conditions, according to the OHA.
