The Roseburg School Board is set to approve the 2019/2020 fiscal year budget at its meeting on Wednesday night.
The proposed General Fund budget is just over $64.4 million. Additional funds are on top of that amount. Chief Operations Officer Cheryl Northam will make a presentation about the budget to the board.
The meeting includes a long list of other action and discussion items including approving a Healthy and Safe Schools Plan, an agreement with Umpqua Community College regarding drop-out recovery, a “Commercial Advertising” policy, the adoption of middle school social studies instructional materials, and more.
After Wednesday, the board is not scheduled to meet again for almost a month. The meeting will be held in the board room at the district’s administrative offices on Valley View Drive in Roseburg. It will begin at 6:00 p.m.
