A Roseburg man has been jailed for robbery and other charges following a recent incident at a store.
Information from the Roseburg Police said back on May 29th, 41-year old Quincy Bennett allegedly stole merchandise from Sherm’s Thunderbird on Stewart Parkway. The report said when the suspect was contacted by loss prevention, he reportedly tried to retain the stolen property by threatening multiple times to stab the employee. The man ran away.
He has since been arrested on an unrelated case. Bennett was charged with third degree counts of robbery and theft, for menacing and for a parole violation. He is being held without bail.
