Roseburg had record rainfall on Monday, for the 2nd straight day.
Data from the National Weather Service said the Roseburg Regional Airport measured .92 inches of rain between 12:00 a.m. Monday and 12:00 a.m. Tuesday. That beat the old record for the date which was .55 inches set in 1972. Between Sunday and Monday Roseburg had 1.98 inches of rain which was also a record amount.
Medford also set a record on Monday with .82 inches reported in the same time period. That doubled the previous record of .41 inches, set in 1995.
With the amount of rain starting to diminish, forecasters have dropped most flood watches and warnings around the region.
