A Roseburg woman was cited following a hit and run incident, and a wreck involving a chain link gate.
A report from the Roseburg Police Department said Sunday morning at about 1:20 a.m. it was reported that a car had pulled out of the Rumors parking lot on Diamond Lake Boulevard and struck the side of another vehicle. The suspect sedan then took off, without attempting to exchange information with the other driver.
About 30 minutes later a report came in that a vehicle matching the description of the one wanted from the hit and run incident, had been involved in an accident at the lot of Independent Motors on Lake. The report said officers found that the wanted car had driven through a chain link gate at the second location, causing damage to both the fence and the car.
The 26-year old female driver was contacted and allegedly displayed signs of alcohol impairment. She was charged with failure to perform the duties of a driver and for DUII. She was released after the citation was issued.
