With the forecast predicting temperatures of 100 degrees and above this week, the Douglas Public Health Network will open a cooling center Tuesday and Wednesday.
County Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer says the center will be open both days from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.in room 134 of the former county health building at the corner of West Madrone and West Harvard.
The center will offer water, snacks and board games.
