Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a case of counterfeit currency.
A report from DCSO says an unknown female attempted to pass a counterfeit $100 bill at the McDonalds in Green, Monday afternoon at about 4:00 p.m. The woman quickly left the scene when the employee realized that the bill was fake.
The suspect is described as a short, heavier set Hispanic female wearing a black front-zip hoodie. She left in a 1990 model white van that was possibly a Ford, with black trim along both sides.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
