JCPenney in Roseburg has been honored with the Founder’s Award. That’s the company’s highest distinction for excellence. The award was given out at a special event held in Dallas, Texas on Wednesday.
At the ceremony, Marvin R. Ellison, chief executive officer, and Joe McFarland, executive vice president of stores, presented Roseburg general manager Lenore Maki Hatch with a commemorative plaque in recognition of the store meeting or exceeding all performance goals. According to a press release from the company, only 102 of about 1,000 stores, six out of fifty two districts, and three out of thirteen supply chain facilities received the coveted award.
Roseburg general manager Lenore Maki Hatch says she is proud of the team of associates “who are committed to delivering excellent service and an engaging store environment that compels customers to return time and time again”. Hatch says the staff is truly honored to receive the recognition from the company. Hatch says she is looking forward to another successful year in 2016.
The Founder’s Award is presented to teams across the organization that excel in the areas of financial performance, customer and client service and business expertise.
