In the KQEN Business Spotlight:ÊMacys in the Roseburg Valley Mall will close in just over a week. The store, which has been at the mall for well over two decades, is being closed as part of a group of 40 stores being shuttered nationwide.
The corporate headquarters for the giant national retailer cited poor sales for the chain in 2015 as a reason for the move. Along with the Roseburg store, Macys is also closing its location in North Bend as well.
Wednesday night a store employee said the store would close on January 23rd.
Macys is being replaced by SportsmanÕs Warehouse, which is expected to open around the first of February.
