It was a warm sunny afternoon on Monday in the Umpqua Valley but no record high was set.
Data from the National Weather Service says the mercury hit 74 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport. At the secondary reporting station at News Radio 1240 KQEN, the high was 76 degrees. The record high for the date was 80 degrees, set in 1934.
No record highs were reported around southern Oregon, according to the National Weather Service.
A chance of rain with highs in the 50s is expected for the rest of the week.
