A pedestrian was hurt after being struck by a vehicle on Tuesday morning.
A report from the Roseburg Police says at about 8:00 a.m. a motorist was turning south on Edenbower from Broad. The driver said a female pedestrian waved him through the intersection and he looked to ensure that traffic was clear before entering the roadway. The driver said he didn’t see the pedestrian when he looked again and continued onto Edenbower. The report says the driver heard a “thud” and stopped. He then saw the woman on the ground and went to assist her.
The pedestrian was taken to Mercy Medical Center where she is listed in good condition.
