The Umpqua Valley Home Builders Association are presenting the Home and Garden Show at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in March.
The event will be March 2nd-4th in Douglas Hall at the Douglas County Fairgrounds. Vendors that specialize in all areas related to home building will offer information to those attending.
On Friday March 2nd its Rebuilding Homes for Hero’s Nails and Ales Night. From 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. three local breweries will have craft beer available. Food will be on sale as well along with live music from Hecktic Week and the Neil Johnson Band.
Saturday March 3rd it’s Kid’s Day. Special activities like drone presentations, and face painting will take place. Saving Grace Pet Adoption Center, the Roseburg Police K9 unit, the Umpqua Valley Arts Association will be among those making presentations.
Sunday March 4th its Senior Day. Seniors will get in for free. It’s also demonstration day:
*Douglas County Bees will be featured at 10:30 a.m.
*A landscape and maintenance demonstration will take place at 11:30 a.m.
*The Mountain Creek String Band will play at 12:30 p.m.
*Umpqua Valley Tractor will have a demonstration at 1:15 p.m.
*River Hawks Tiny Homes demonstration will begin at 2:30 p.m.
Show hours are Friday 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission is $4 with $1 off for those who bring canned for the food bank program of the United Community Action Network.
