A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for a wide area of southern Oregon.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford say visibility is less than a quarter of a mile at times, making driving difficult. Drivers should slow down and allow plenty of room between their vehicle and other vehicles.
The Dense Fog Advisory applies to central Douglas County and the eastern Douglas County foothills, along with Josephine and Jackson counties, and the south central Oregon coast. It remains in place until 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning.
