The stagnant air situation in southern Oregon may get worse.
An update from the National Weather Service says ventilation is expected to worsen on Friday and into the weekend as both mixing and transport winds decrease. The Stagnant Air Advisory continues through early Wednesday for a wide area of the region.
Pollution is expected to increase in the next few days as high pressure dominates the area.
For Roseburg, high temperatures will remain in the low to mid 40s with lows dropping to near or below the freezing mark. Freezing fog is expected for the late night and early morning hours through Wednesday.
