A Roseburg man is in the Douglas County Jail on 131 charges.
Officer Kevin Taggart of the Myrtle Creek Police says a victim had reported that someone had used his debit card to make purchases over the last two months. An investigation led to Nicholas Artherholt being the suspect. Taggart says it was determined that the man had stolen the credit card number to make online purchases and pizza purchases using a cell phone app. The total amount of fraudulent charges was over $2,600. Taggart said there had been 65 individual charges since November 5th.
Artherholt turned himself in to the Myrtle Creek Police Department Wednesday afternoon. He is being held on 65 counts of computer crime, 65 counts of unlawful use of a credit card, and for first degree theft. Bail is set at $812,500.
