Sunday, October 15th is National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day and a gathering is taking place in Roseburg for those affected by such loss.
Event organizer, Jennifer Zeliff, says that all family members connected to the loss of a pregnancy or a child are invited to attend including mothers, fathers, grandparents, siblings and other friends or family members who have suffered the loss of a child at any stage.
The event will be held at the Stewart Park Pavilion beginning at 6:00 p.m. There will be opportunities for individuals to share a memory, photograph, or keepsake in memory of their loss.
A candle lighting will be held as part of the gathering as well. Zeliff says there will be candles to use at the event, but those attending are welcome to bring their own
There is no cost to attend the Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance gathering.
