New traffic signals will be placed in operation at two intersections on Monday October 16th, as part of the South Stewart Parkway Project.
An update from City of Roseburg staff, says the signals are at the corners of Stewart Parkway and Garden Valley and Stewart Parkway and Harvey.
At the intersection with Garden Valley, periodic lane closures will continue as sidewalks and light poles are being installed. Delays should be expected for about another month.
The Harvey Avenue intersection with Stewart Parkway has periodic flagging as the contractor continues to construct the east half of the new roadway. Lanes are narrow through the work zone and traffic is slow. Flagging will be required at night once the new signals are working. Traffic will be routed to the east side of Stewart Parkway starting next week.
