One man was cited on a drug charge and charges are pending on a second man, following an incident on Wednesday morning in Roseburg.
Information from the Roseburg Police says that at about 9:00 a.m. an officer observed Timothy Hobbs in a vehicle at the Short Cut Market on Winchester. The officer saw the man making a probable drug deal. The officer conducted a traffic stop on the man when he drove away. Hobbs, age 33, was allegedly found to be in possession of methamphetamine which his passenger was reportedly in possession of heroin.
Hobbs was cited for unlawful possession of meth and for driving while suspended. Charges are pending against the passenger pending the drug lab weighing the heroin.
Timothy Hobbs was cited and released by Roseburg Police.
