A man with what police called a “large fighting knife” in his pocket was arrested on multiple charges Friday night in Roseburg.
A report from the Roseburg Police says that at about 8:30 p.m. police went to Abby’s Pizza on Northeast Stephens after reports that Kyle Turley had been repeatedly trespassing and stealing from the business. An officer contacted the man and reportedly discovered that he had the knife. The report says that while the officer was trying to search him, Turley allegedly kicked the officer in the knee. He then damaged the inside of the patrol vehicle while being transported to Douglas County Corrections.
Kyle Turley was charged with second degree counts of criminal trespass and criminal mischief, and for harassment, resisting arrest and third degree theft. He is being held on $23,750 bail.
