Two unusual situations led to charges from Roseburg Police between Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning.
Just after 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, police were called to a home in the 1800 block of Southeast Giles where there has been an ongoing property line dispute between two neighbors. One man reportedly sprayed his neighbor with a garden hose, completely soaking him. He was charged with harassment and then was released.
At about 2:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, an officer went to a home in the 2200 block of Northeast Kerr. The report says a victim had told a 38 year old woman to leave her property more than ten times throughout the night. The suspect was known to the victim but the suspect had never lived at the location nor had she been given permission to be there, according to the report. The suspect had been warned that she was trespassing by officers multiple times and urged to move on. The last time she came back, the report says the suspect stripped naked and sat on the victim’s portch.
That woman was charged with second degree criminal trespass and was taken to jail.
