Wildlife Safari will celebrate Earth Day with a “Party for the Planet’ on Saturday.
The local event is part of larger emphasis by more than 120 of the tops zoos and aquariums in North America. That makes it the largest combined Earth Day celebration on the continent.
Wildlife Safari will offer fun family activities like junk sculptures, planting seeds in ZooDoo to take home, meet a chicken, meet a cheetah, face painting and more, all for free.
The local “Party for the Planet” will run from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Safari Village at Wildlife Safari in Winston.
