A 51 year old woman from Glide has been identified as the woman who died in a residential fire on Wednesday morning.

The Douglas County Medical Examiner’s Office says that Kimberly Marie Down was the woman found deceased after a fire was knocked down in the 100 block of Estella Street. That fire was reported at about 2:30 a.m.  The home was fully engulfed when fire fighters arrived.

The cause and origin of the fire will be determined by the Oregon State Fire Marshal’s Office. There are no indications of foul play.
