A suspect is still at large after a bank robbery in Riddle yesterday afternoon.
At approximately 2:50 p.m. Tuesday Douglas County Communications received an emergency call from an employee at Banner Bank.
The employee reported that a robbery had just occurred at the bank, located on Main Street.
According to the report, a male suspect entered the bank and demanded money.
The suspect fled on foot taking an undisclosed amount of money with him.
The suspect is described as an adult white male in his 30’s, approximately 6′ tall, weighing about 200 pounds.
At the time of the robbery the suspect was reported to be wearing a blue baseball hat, black leather jacket, a red and blue plaid shirt and jeans.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says he may possibly be associated with a newer model blue sedan.
Deputies responded to the area and conducted a search for the suspect but were unable to locate him.
