Pruning workshops are being offered to help Douglas County residents get their landscaping in order as spring approaches.
The Oregon State University Extension Service has announced the Roses and Other Entry Garden Trees and Shrubs pruning workshop set for Friday, February 17th.
Another workshop focusing on Shrubs and Trees of the Garden is scheduled to take place on Thursday, March 9th.
Both classes run from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and will be held outside.
Participants will need to bring their own pruning loppers and hand saws, and organizers recommend wearing warm, water proof clothing.
The class is free to current Douglas County Master Gardener members and $5 for non members.
Registration is required and due at least one day prior to each workshop.
