Programs and services formerly provided under the name of the Community Health Alliance are now provided under the business name of Compass Behavioral Health.
That follows a decision last September by the Board of Directors of the Community Health Alliance to integrate all mental health services with Adapt. Dr. Gregory Brigham, a Board Certified Clinical Psychologist and CEO for Adapt, was appointed by the CHA Board to also serve as CEO of Compass. Brigham says the new name was selected to reflect a “new direction in providing integrated behavioral health services to the community, as well as to represent meaningful change toward health and recovery.
To avoid any disruption in client care, a number of steps are being taken to inform clients, health care providers and the public of the name change. Brigham says that clients will not experience a change in the services they receive.
Contact numbers will remain the same and patients will continue to receive mental health services at the same locations. New Compass Behavioral Health signs will be posted at all service locations. A new website is in process and will be updated soon.
Clients and family members with questions about Compass Behavioral Health Services should call 440-3532.
