A heat advisory is still in effect through 2:00 a.m. on Sunday for most of southern Oregon and northern California. Forecasters continue to emphasize that this hot weather is dangerous for everyone. They say even health adults will be at risk for heat related illnesses when working or exercising outside.
Red Flag warnings and a Fire Weather Watch will be in place for Jackson County from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Winds gusting to 25 miles per hour could significantly contribute to the spread of any new fires that may start.
