A rear end collision led to one lane of Interstate Five southbound being blocked for two hours on Wednesday night.
Information from Oregon State Police says that just after 7:00 p.m. a southbound driver in the Drain area claimed to be briefly distracted. When he looked back at the roadway traffic in front of him had stopped. The driver swerved into the other lane in an attempt to avoid a collision but lost control and went back to the first lane where he struck the vehicle in front of him.
It appears that no one was hurt in the accident. One vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
