The 3rd Annual Downtown Roseburg Association Saint Patrick’s Day Parade is Saturday March 12th at 11:00 a.m.
Staging for the parade will begin at 9:30 a.m. behind the Justice Building of the Douglas County Courthouse. The theme for the parade is “Go Green”.
Douglas County Commissioners will be proclaiming March 12th as “Youth with Disabilities Awareness Day” as well. Later that afternoon, the 18th annual Taylor/Hatfield Youth Fund’s Saint Paddy’s Day Grub and Pub Crawl will take place. The pre-function gathering begins at 4:00 p.m. with Irish music and contests at McMenamins Roseburg Station. The official kick-off for “Grub and Pub” will be at 6:00 p.m. Participants can stroll downtown or catch a bus to 11 other participating pubs until 10:00 p.m. Cost is $5 per person and allows access to all venues including live music at Backside Brewing and the Elks Lodge dance.
