No one was hurt when the driver of a vehicle lost control on Interstate Five northbound early Wednesday morning.
An OSP report says the operator was going too fast for heavy rain just before 6:00 a.m. and his pickup hit the center barrier, eventually stopping in the left lane just north of the bridge over the freeway at the Winchester exit.
Along with Oregon State Police, fire and medical crews responded as did staff with the Oregon Department of Transportation. The damaged pickup was removed from the road. The 28 year old driver was cited for failing to drive inside the lane.
