Periods of light freezing rain are forecast through 10:00 a.m. on Sunday morning.
Forecasters with the National Weather Service say that cold air is expected to remain trapped in the valleys west of the Cascades. This will result in accumulating freezing rain in many areas of central Douglas County. Surfaces may become slick resulting in hazardous conditions for people driving and even walking as the pavement becomes extremely slippery. Ê
Conditions should change to rain by late Sunday morning. ÊÊ
Motorists should slow down and use caution while driving.
